Captain Jack Sparrow is an entertaining, over-the-top, unforgettable character. Johnny Depp has made a living cartoon of the guy, and I was moved into trying my hands at a caricature. I think he came out looking a little like a heroin-addicted Spaniard. But this sure was heaps of fun and I like the style--I'm tempted to try some more of these with different expressions.
Today's excuses: I drew and inked 90% of this while a cockatiel moved from my head to my shoulders/chewed on my yarn hair extension, and I was simultaneously entertaining a seven-year-old cousin. You don't have to tell me about the hand. I've spent more effort on sneezes. I actually had my cousin hold a banana over her shoulder in much the same way so I could have a reference, but between the cockatiel and the fact that I was just too lazy to erase it a fifth time and start over, it is what it is.

I will kindly ask that excessively fangirlish comments be kept to a minimum.
