"Crackpot" Jane Dupree, my pirate alter-ego. Yes I've been watching PotC and listening to The Skeleton Crew Pirate Band. WHAT OF IT.
Jane isn't quite me but she is certain traits and shortcomings embodied in a vessel that looks more me-like than, say, Dingo. At least, she's supposed to look like me, but I fail at profiles and everyone looks nine years old. Jane's pistol, "Thomas" (a reference to Helix, who was named Thomas before he died) was not engraved with the name at her request. In fact, the pistol was given to her by Mary Tiller with the name already on it. Probably the name of the smith. She refers to the gun as "Major Tom," speaks to it in French and brandishes it with swaggering abandon. It probably either doesn't work or is never loaded. Bartleby the iguana drawn without reference, so for all I know he looks more like a platypus. |

You definitely don't fail at profiles. D: That's a damn good one! As far as having problems making ages right, if you wanted to make Jane look older, you could have drawn lips. That's a guarantee for 10 years age difference. And...perhaps a cheek bone if you really wanted her to be aged.
