I love this little story. The white space and lack of dialogue tells so much on its own. There's a lack of understanding between the two, but the creature's attempt to communicate is still sweet :>

Beautiful... I love how you draw your muse, he's so fancy! Also, the last panel is my favorite.

Very cute in a really weird way.
I still like those floaty creatures you draw.

The other poem I wrote with them was:
"Some moist animal breathed at my bee."

oh my, how interesting. although i must say, that does sound like something a bee would experience from time to time. you know. being a bee and all.

but it's your bee, so maybe not.

i've never had those word magnets, but i like to take advantage of them when i'm places that do have them. i went to a neighbor's house once and left him very perplexed by all the new stories on his fridge, haha

Hahaha!

Oh lord, me too (re. never had them, can't resist them at other people's houses). And using the ones at my sister's place, which were specifically "poetry magnets" was a challenge to my subversive nature, because they were mostly horrible cliche "poetry words" like "verdant" and "peaceful."
