Is this what happens when I spend too much time on Tegaki E? I develop shaky chameleon hands that can't ink worth a d*mn?
OH THERE'S A PICTURE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE TALKING ABOUT. Ladies and gentlemen boys and girls this is Lupe Gutierrez and she probably has one of my favorite names ever. She was one of Edgar's first big gateways into conceptual artwork when he was but a young pup in his 20s, and after he spent a while as a bit of a starry-eyed hanger-on, the two of them became good friends. She served as something of a mentor to our Edgar in many ways, and although it's been years since they've seen each other, they still remember one another fondly.
The wrapped piano may or may not be one of Lupe's art pieces. I'm pretty sure that binding and/or suspension is (or was) a consistent theme in her art.
Was going to do more to the "background" until I realized that a "just standing there" picture was NOT WORTH EXTRA TIME. Hey guys guess what I drew a girl inorite. This is the part where I beg Yukni to draw her because I suspect that she could get Lupe dead on to how I see her in my head. HEY YUKNI I HAVE CAAANDY.
She wears men's suite pretty much 95% of the time AND I LOVE IT. Thank you, dawg! (A girl and ALSO supposed to look like she could be in her forties, though I'm not sure it shows. PROGRESS.)

AAW YEAH! I WAS TOTALLY GONNA ASK TO GANK HER! *TOO! MANY! EXCLAMATIONS!*
I really like the sharp shading on her suit and her haaaiiiiiiiiiir omgawd<<<<<<3333333 I can almost believe that you didn't give up on the background, and that Lupe is INSTEAD AT AN ART GALA SHOWING OFF THE PIANO PIECE, and that the swank shading is then due to harsh florescent lights overhead, cus ARTIST PRETENSIONS ON LIGHTING U":<
