Artist's Comments

Why are the dimensions of all these circles in my drawings exactly the same? CDs, kids. Barenaked Ladies' Maroon for this one.

I AM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. I'm like, bursting with optimism and a can-do attitude (that pertains to everything but the two-pager I have to write tonight and the 6-8-pager I gotta hammer out between now and semester's end). Oh make it last forever.

I have too much of a light touch when I shade white (though the scanning made it worse).

This moose still has no name.

I LOVE EVERYTHING.

(Just so everybody knows, this is in fact a she-moose. The only real evidence is in the lack of antlers, so the moosegender mixups were understandable!)

Daily Deviation

Given 2007-04-26

Words like "cheerful", "bright" and "friendly" can be found in comments on all of *Dumpysaurus's lovely deviations. The Highest Hill immediately sticks out not only because of the happy-inducing colors, subtle textures and wonderful character design but because of the artist's description. Delight in the simple pleasure of optimism is a powerful force. Soak it all up and don't forget to check out the rest of her airy gallery! (Suggested by ~Rainblossom and Featured by $y2jenn)

Eeeee moose! I love the sunshiney feel this one has. And the dandelions--I am such a total sucker for anything with dandelions in.

The whole thing just makes me happy looking at it.

Life is like a sewer. What you get out of it depends on what you put into it.

What a cheerful and bright picture this is!
It makes me smile just to look at it :3

I really like the lineless effect you've gotten, and how bright the colours stand out. The green grass reflecting off his body gives the impression of a very sunny day.
What an unusual and cute character too! Very lovely image this :3

I love this cheerful little picture! I can associate with the little guy in those random moments when I'm happy. The sky and the flower-weeds are great. X)

Now, I know what pure condensed cervidae happiness looks like. AND BY GUM IS IT AWESOME.
